About Palm Beach Mold Pros
Palm Beach Mold Pros is a Florida DBPR licensed mold remediation company based in West Palm Beach, FL. We provide mold removal, mold inspection, mold testing, and emergency response services for residential and commercial properties across Palm Beach County.
Every job is performed by a licensed Mold Remediator following IICRC S520 (2024) protocol. We do not subcontract remediation work. The licensed professional who assesses your property is not the same individual who performs the remediation, consistent with Florida Statute Ch. 468, Part XVI, which prohibits the same person from serving as both Mold Assessor and Mold Remediator on the same property.

WHO WE ARE
A Licensed Mold Remediation Company Built for Palm Beach County
Palm Beach County has one of the most challenging mold environments in the country. Hurricane season runs June through November. Year-round humidity averages 74%. Properties along the Intracoastal Waterway, in Flood Zone AE communities, and in golf course developments like PGA National and Ballenisles face sustained moisture exposure that compounds over years. We built Palm Beach Mold Pros specifically for this market.
We are not a national franchise. We are not a general contractor who added mold services. Mold assessment and mold remediation in Palm Beach County is our core work. Our team holds Florida DBPR licensure in both Mold Assessment and Mold Remediation and operates under IICRC S520 protocol on every job regardless of size.
We serve homeowners, landlords, property managers, real estate buyers and sellers, insurance adjusters, and commercial tenants across West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, and all of Palm Beach County.
CREDENTIALS AND LICENSING
Our Licenses and Certifications
Florida law requires a DBPR Mold Remediator License for any mold remediation job over 10 square feet. The same law requires a separate Mold Assessor License for the written assessment. These are distinct licenses, and the same individual cannot hold both roles on the same property under Florida Statute Ch. 468, Part XVI.
Palm Beach Mold Pros holds both licenses and maintains them as separate roles on every project. You receive an independent assessment and an independent remediation, each performed under the standards required by its license.
01
Mold Assessment
Independent written assessment and documented scope.
02
Mold Remediation
Separate licensed execution under IICRC S520.

HOW WE WORK
What to Expect When You Call Palm Beach Mold Pros
Step 1: Same-day response. Call (728) 231-9060 and reach a licensed team member, not an answering service. We schedule your inspection or assessment for the same day or the next available slot depending on your situation.
Step 2: Written assessment. A Florida DBPR licensed Mold Assessor visits the property, documents all affected areas using thermal imaging and moisture meters, and delivers a written Mold Assessment Report. This report specifies the extent of growth, the species identified if lab sampling is performed, and the recommended remediation scope.
Step 3: Written scope before any work begins. You receive a line-item estimate with no hidden fees. No work starts without your written authorization. No scope changes without your written approval.
Step 4: Remediation to IICRC S520 standard. The licensed Mold Remediator executes the approved scope using containment barriers, negative air pressure, HEPA air scrubbers, and all required PPE. Affected materials are removed and disposed of as required by the remediation protocol.
Step 5: Independent post-remediation clearance. A clearance test is performed by a party independent of the remediation team. The clearance certificate is issued in your name and formatted for insurance adjusters, real estate attorneys, lenders, and HOA boards.
INSURANCE AND DOCUMENTATION
We Work With All Insurance Companies
Pre-remediation photos
Written scope
IICRC S520 work logs
Clearance certificate
Mold remediation covered by homeowners insurance or flood insurance requires documentation that your carrier will accept. We produce it on every job: pre-remediation photos, a written scope, IICRC S520-compliant work logs, and a post-remediation clearance certificate.
We work directly with all insurance companies operating in Palm Beach County, including all carriers writing NFIP flood insurance and private flood policies. We communicate with your adjuster on your behalf and format all documentation in the structure your carrier requires.
If you’re filing a claim for mold following a covered water damage event, call (728) 231-9060 before you agree to a remediation scope with any company. We’ll review your policy coverage and make sure the documentation is set up correctly from the first visit.
OUR APPROACH TO SOUTH FLORIDA MOLD
Why South Florida Mold Requires a Different Standard
Mold remediation standards written for temperate climates don’t fully account for South Florida’s conditions. Average outdoor humidity of 74% means any building envelope failure creates immediate mold risk. Hurricane season produces Category 1 through 5 events that generate Category 2 and Category 3 water damage across thousands of properties simultaneously. Flood Zone AE designation covers large portions of every coastal Palm Beach County city.
We built our protocols around these realities. Every job is assessed with moisture mapping and thermal imaging regardless of how straightforward it appears on the surface. Mold in Palm Beach County rarely has only one point of origin.
Our work is informed by IICRC S520 (2024), IICRC S500, EPA mold remediation guidelines, and Florida Building Code requirements for post-remediation structural materials. We follow all of them, on every job, regardless of size.
